Nevada Ghost Towns || Berlin, Grantsville, Ione, Middlegate Station & Ichthyosaur Fossils
From Middlegate Station near Fallon Nevada, we explore old mines and the grave of Matt Costello. Then we head to the Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park where we get a glimpse into life in an early mining camp and a tour of the largest Ichthyosaur fossils in the world. Next we explore the abandoned ghost town and mine of Grantsville Nevada where ruins of a town and a mining mill remain. We take a quick look in Ione, a living ghost town "that refuses to die". We see a small herd of big horned sheep on our way back to Middlegate Station for fuel and supplies. All in our 1988 Jeep Comanche overland rig.
DIXIE VALLEY TOPGUN ELECTRONIC WARFARE RANGE
In our 1988 Jeep Comanche, we explore Dixie Valley Nevada, an oasis in the dessert that now serves as Top Gun training grounds for the US Navy. We find tanks and other military equipment among abandoned ranches and homesteads.
OVERLANDING WINNEMUCCA NV
Part 3 of our Northwestern Nevada overland adventure in our 1988 Jeep Comanche. We discover a remote miners cabin and visit Paradise Valley NV. Then we explore the Jumbo Mine and all of the buildings associated with it. We finish the night in Winnemucca.

We explore the remote Nevada mining camps of Seven Troughs, Mazuma, Tunnel Camp, and Vernon. Along the way we find a unique tourist stop along Interstate 80 Nevada- Thunder Mountain Monument. Continuing our overland adventure through Northwest Nevada in our 1988 Jeep Comanche.
